What Do You Love About Your Body?

I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong, but it seems like so many people “want to lose weight” rather than “want to get healthy.” Sure, if you ask them if they want to to improve their health, of course they’ll say, “yes,” but the primary objective is to look good for an event or jaw-dropping in a specific article of clothing. (I have a few dozen swimsuits in my closet as a living testament to how much a girl will spend to try and look “okay” at a beach resort)

People can put together a rap sheet in about 2 seconds of all the things they “hate” about their body. Let’s not even waste our time on that question. Instead, let me ask you this . . . What do you love about your body? What do you love about your life? What is your “Why?”

Don’t skip past this. Don’t brush this off. There is an answer, even if it’s hard. Don’t move on until you’ve narrowed something down.

THIS is the reason. Focus on it. This is the reason we choose to eat foods that nourish our bodies. This is the reason we exercise to improve our health: So we can enjoy, “THIS,” for as many years as God blesses on this Earth.
